Aaaaaaand, I've been reliably informed the inlet port size is too large which is what robbed the midrange. And and I don't think they sound great either. I do think the 1199 should've been more twin like, rather than a 2 cylinder inline 4 with its power delivery.
Are BMW bikers similar to the stereo typical assumption most people have of BMW drivers, (i.e.Tossers for those BMW drivers in denial of this fact) and are Audicati owners similar to the stereo typical assumption that most BMW drivers have of Audi drivers i.e. Tossers? It is confusing
yep the deep boom of 1198 etc with termis does sound better, think if I ever got another ducati I would look at a 1198 s etc for a second bike ,

If I could afford a panni, I'd have a 1098R. I think that's the best kind of main stream bike Ducati have made. As for the beemer, I respect what it can do, I just don't WANT one, and it's that difference in people that makes the world such an interesting place.

Suppose to be better on the 1299 Reliability.. Hmm just trawl any S1000RR forums and they are not all that reliable Looks.. Really?? You Should have gone to specsavers Price.. power ? we will have to see what a 1299 dynos at a bm has about 20bhp more than an 1199, ohlins ? we will have to see if its anything like the 1199 ohlins stiffness be far to hard and if you watch the u tube clips on portamao there hardly using half the travel and that's on a circuit , reliability just read the panni forums my 1199,i had about 10 recalls, looks give you that one, electronics think the bm will have it now ,there s not a journo on the panni test what has not got the t/c on constantly, not sure of settings but seem far to intrusive, cruise control, forgot that one ,every man to there own don't expect to win a panni argument on here , ive had a panni for 18mths ,could have got 2k more p/x against another panni, fancied a change so will see when I get it,

the right bike with 1 of the if not the best rider at the tt dunlop on the yamaha will smash it the only way he wont win if the bike lets him down as we all no the bmw can take on the course and not blow up as dunlop won just about every race on it last year but the yamaha is a new breed and not been tested yet u just never no it mite go bang lol would love to see guy win it on the bm seen as tho its his last year of road racing
yep agree , think the yam may be chasing bhp to compete with the bm, no good making up a tenth on a bend if your 10bhp down flat out on the long straights, don't think it will do out in bsb either,
Them BMs where fast their last year weren't they . First time in years I've watched on tv and thought, "Shit! That's fast." So you know it's REALLY fast on board.
