1198 Corse Carbon Bellypan - Help..!!!!

Discussion in '848 / 1098 / 1198' started by Bullitt, Feb 14, 2015.

  1. Guys,

This is doing my head in.....!!!

A while back, I saw a company that was manufacturing the Corse style belly pan but with the side stand aperture. For all the love in the world and hours spent searching the web, I'm buggered if I can find who it was.

I have the street version from MS production, which really is excellent quality, but I have 70mm pipes on and it fouls them on the link pipes and lower turn pipe. I know I can trim the carbon, but it's not really what I'm looking for.

I've attached a couple of pictures of the bikes that Motion Design put together. Grey bike one is what I'm looking for, but with aperture. White one is what I have, but not really what I'm looking for.

I've tried to contact MS, no reply, also CM Composit, again nothing... CDT only do the fully enclosed version and won't do a special...!

    Anyone any thoughts, pleeeease....?

  2. like those stands, where did you buy those from?

  3. You can find the 1098R one piece version that has the side stand cutout and fits the 70mm pipes without any problem. they are not cheap mind!

  5. My Akrapovic evo full system fouled the belly pan on my 916sps.All easily fixed with a couple of brackets and rubber stoppers.Maybe worth a try.

  6. Shift tech make them but they are in the states. I can't remember the make of mine, (bought it 2nd hand off here) but it's more like the standard fit rather than the tall rear edge. It's also a 1 piece one which I prefer.

  7. Nice looking bike, BTW.

  8. It was from motto Rapido mate

  9. Bikes aren't mine, however stand on grey bike is from Lightech, the other is from Pierobon.

  10. Thanks. If it's just a simple piece copy of the standard version, it's all open at the rear exhaust section and not what I'm looking for. Thanks though.

  11. Cheers, fella. I've been speaking with Moto Rapido about carbon. They get their bits from CDTr / Fullsix. Great stuff, but they can't convince them to make that belly pan!! arghhh...!!!

  12. It was about £800 from memory new. Quite a chunk but looked great
