Just finished another hard hand bashing bit - RH Frame brace (box section on this side made from two flat plates which will be seam welded down the centre), glued together and taped for now, finished the rear piece too while it was in position. Just the foot-peg mounts and seat supports to do now I think, then over to Hull for welding!
    This will be the modified version of the bike so will do the seat mounts slightly higher than standard - these bikes were sooo low on seat height!

  5. Seat supports proved more difficult having decided to raise the seat height approx. 1" on the 'modern version' of the KR but tonight they are finished ready for welding :Happy:

  7. Agreed, but Elise likes to be "in the zone" when working on his projects, to ensure that he does his best work :upyeah:

    This attitude is of course in stark contrast to his postings here on the forums ...

  17. Black powder coat I think, certainly on the original version. I could be adventurous with this one as is the modded version but I think I'll play safe with black :)
