I stayed on, I learnt what I need to do to go faster, I got pissed off with my riding, I came home. Usual fare
Actually loads of patience while riding, 5 secs plus slower than doing my own thing but learning is what it was for. Its just whn I'm off a bike, I want it all NOW When you have been at the sharp end, not being there if tough on the ego
You're never far from a piece of history in the UK - Stonehenge Salisbury and Old Sarum Plenty of famous people here abouts to
I live amongst some very special men Nell Gwynne lived here and we house the Mappa Maundi and the chained library
Beachy Head, Belle Tout, half burnt pier etc. The nearest landmark of merit is probably the monument to the B24-D "Ruthless" crash site on Butts Brow on the top of the South Downs. My house is built on the old Airship airport where the two WW1 anti-submarine balloons that crashed in Jevington were based.
Great thread. Clifton Suspension Bridge, the Severn Bridges, SS Great Britain, Temple Meads Station. I like big engineering... Edit: oh and Banksy street art, lots of it...
Work between Cheltenham Racecourse & Prescott Hillclimb, but seem to live in the middle of nowhere, a field away from the River Severn and a fair few trees in the other direction (inhabited by wild boar, not that I've ever seen one, just the damage they do). Does Wales count? That's not far away...
