We have taken 18 months to design and perfect the latest in our long line of Imola Gloves....these incorporate all the well proven ideas of earlier designs with even more updates and improvements to materials. The Mk V Imola Glove is made from the finest Goatskin with Kangaroo leather palms for additional feel, and incorporate soft armour further protected by Stingray skin.....reputed to be the most abrasion resistant leather available today. They incorporate too, 3rd and 4th fingers stitched together, and an armoured wrist band to protect that all too vulnerable ulna......The gloves are available in fashionable white, or red/black/tan...no, we wont be doing a blue glove, 6 years of selling gloves proves we cant sell blue gloves......and Kawasaki Green ? Forget it...Lol...... We ran the prototypes and pre production models all last year in BSB, with Hudson Kennaugh, Karl Harris, John Simpson ( British Supersport Cup Champion 2011 ), Danny Buchan and our own Sam West.....and the general consensus was that they were pretty damned fine gloves ! They are available in Small, Medium and Large, I'll add some pics once I'm back from Brands.....and the price is £130 delivered...cheap at twice the price.....less of course 10% discount for forum members..........
Seen the gloves, tried I think two prototypes and honestly version 2 was almost perfect with only one issue for me that was due to be changed anyhow but all in all great gloves and bragging rights re sting-ray skin are priceless.
Hi Lucazade do i know you from anuther forum ? anyway back to the gloves how big is your large as i have very big hands normaly take a xxxl as i have a span of 250mm and my palm is 110 accross just wonders if you did freak sizes
when I broke my elbow, my arm wouldn't straighten, so the physio put me in the pool where I'd swim in circles for hours : ) I can walk in a straight line tho!
This issue has always bugged me so I just measured my hands and they are also 110 wide and span of 250mm. Less of a freak issue more useful these big hands.... Working on the bike is a real issue though, oh and sitting in the pub it gets brought up quite a lot hang on this is a freak show...!
