1199 1199s Px Prices

  1. Seriously thinking of px the 1199s for the 1299s.
Not enquired at any dealers as yet, was wondering if any one has.
To get an idea of current value.
As there is big price difference from dealer to dealer who are selling them,
seen 1199s for sale just under 17k for 2013 model.
Would be nice to get some price indications before I start shopping around.

  2. just p/x my 1199 s with termi,s 6,5k miles, against an s1000rr got 13k, that was the highest bid got offered as low as 12k, did get offered 14,5k against a 1299, tell you now don't matter what peole say on here no one wants them, gut told ducati are helping out with the 1299 hense the higher price still shit tho as had about 21k in the bike, this was the last 2 weeks,

  3. 10'600 miles base abs full Termi's BMC filter decent nick , 11'500 trade in against the 12

  4. people want panis, but they cost too much for most, and most who ride cant get on with them. For those who can, they do :) As JImmy says 12-13k tops

  5. On a 12 Plate sorry

  6. tell you something else ,as from a dealer, prices are going to go lower as ducati stil got loads new 1199s models, so when the 1299 arrives it will go lower ,but you don't here of many actualy wanting the 1299, doesn't seem to be many on here ordered one,

  7. too many used 's' on the market too. Prices will dive. I would love a 1299, could afford it, but certainly cant justify it.
There is ALWAYS something better than what you have. Fact.

  8. and another point is the pcp deals are about to finish there 3 year run , so your going to have more on the 2nd hand market,

  9. Did cross my mind about PX-ing mine but I know I will be insulted even more now the 1299 is on the horizon. I think we are only a few years away from a new bike so I'm keeping hold of my pennies until then. I think if I swap my 1199 now I'll get shafted then in a couple of years time when I want to swap the 1299 for 1399 or whatever they'll be after pulling my pants down again!

  11. I think we are probably another 2 years away from a New model, hence thinking of the 1299s.
Main concern was if I keep the 1199s for another 2 years, I would have around 15,000 miles on it and its value could be very low. So to upgrade in another 2 years time I bet I would need to put another 10k - 12k plus the 1199s to get on another New bike.
At the end of the day I suppose if you buy a car or a bike, your are going to get shafted when you come to sell it.

  12. C'mon lads get trading in those old nails, they're bloody rubbish think yourself lucky if you get 10K, you know you want a 1299 :D

  16. Bmw rr's are not exempt to new model devaluation , they've had 3 variants since released happens to every bike , myself I don't listen to some body said this some body said that , if I had owned a rr for the same period of time ( mileage etc ) would have lost bigger percentage of overall value , from what I have been told there is no major panic of old Ducati stock prices are relative to age condition model mileage etc , new models come n go all the time .

  17. Jimmy is that your bike up for £15'495 at Carlise Ducati ?

  18. I'm getting the same from car dealers on my one year old audi q7 . Dealers must think cos you show a interest in something new your desp to get out of car / bike and can bid you any thing . Well they can and if we take the offer then we devalue and set prices for our own. Bikes if we don't take it the prices be higher .just my opinion .
