Dorna blocked Stoner having a wildcard ride for the Aus GP, stating that "wildcards were supposed to be for up and coming riders not the establised" so will be interesting to see if they allow Bayliss
Anything more than mid pack and I'll be amazed. The game, technology and tyres have moved on a lot in the few short years since he was racing. Bet you a few quid has gone on him to win tho
Let's not forget his last race as a wild card entry. 2 years since he last rode a gp bike, never ridden on Brjdgestones before. Trounced the field. One of the best rides in gp history I reckon. Go TB21.
Not a wildcard entry, but a full factory ride replacing an injured Davide Giugliano in the Ducati Team. A podium is expected, a win within his abilities. He's still as fast as he was in his heyday, I've seen him race only a month ago on flat track against the Worlds best and his will to win is undiminished. Let's wait and see what Friday brings....
Yes its on Eurosport Bike racing back this weekend and I am off from work, BRING IT ON Time to get to gripes with who is a contender this year
My guess is.... Bayliss had shed loads to do with the development of the 1199 so maybe Ducati get him to win a race, prove the bikes OK, then the other riders can get on with some winning
