Bought 2 bikes last year, so might give this year a miss. I still want an rc8 for reasons unknown to me.
I'm buying an R9T ....... don't care ....... made my mind up. Want to try a boxer, I like the (retro) styling, the quality looks leaps and bounds better than what I'm used to and they seem to be holding their value quite well.
Potential of new Multi, if the deal was right and it is substantially lower If not, may end up on a new Kwaka or Bimmer
Not trying to start a war but I think boxer-engined BMWs peaked with R100RS - one of the best all-rounders ever made IMO, and quite a good-looking bike. I've never found any other boxers appealing or easy on the eye. Mates love them though so I rode new, hired GSes many thousands of miles round the USA to try the model out, and didn't like riding them as much as I'd hoped. I did fall for the adventure bike concept though so opted for a Multistrada, which I find perfect for my uses.
Yes - but smaller engine - not quite landed yet And I've gone for the Dragster RR and changed my name to Chav
Good luck hanging on to your licence! Out of interest what made you go for that over the Panigale 800? And do you know what the MV adventure bike will be called?
But fed up with Ducati & they haven't updated or replaced the SF - and fell in love with the triple - too old and broken for a spots bike as an only bike TURISMO VELOCE 800 Motorcycle | MV Agusta MVs in look better in the flesh I find than in pictures
I'll be frank, it would have to look a hell of a lot better in the flesh. MVs generally look amazing in a good way. That Turismo Veloce looks amazing but in the worst way possible for me! But I like the looks of the MTS, so what do I know!
Not sure about brand new, but I am pretty sure that I will eventually succumb to my desire to test ride a Street Triple.
I did have a sudden urge last week to change from the 848 to a white 899. I did enquire but where I am only 19 months through the PCP on the 848 there was not enough equity to justify against the deposit for the 899.....
Great bikes. Loads of fun if you don't want to travel very far but be prepared to stop for petrol often!
I've been told under no circumstances I can buy a new bike this year as I had the 1199 last year. However, I may have a used bike but can't decide what yet .... 748 , a cheap track bike, or a Greenlaner ...
Actually I'd like a scrambler too , but not new I'll wait until some hipster has scared himself on one and it's cheap on fleabay next year
