So sorry to hear that Steve. I lost my dad last year from cancer. Horrible, horrible disease. I feel for you and your family. Stay strong
and here. well seems like the daughter is following in fathers foot steps and getting her self in the papers again.(thankfully for all the right reasons).a trust has been set up for lochaber schools to reward kids who do something special or achieve some sort of success in a chosen field. well me daughter won this year (the first year) gets her name on some fancy cup, that will get passed down to the next winner and so on. wonder how long until she becomes a proper pain in the ass and i kick her out?
Steve, nothing anyone can say softens the hurt and having not made the hospital before my mum died, I understand what the hole feels like. One thing I know, how ever far away siblings are, there is a connection and I am sure your brother knew how you felt. After 12 months of struggle, he is at rest now. You have family and good friends that will help you get through. You never forget but time lessens the pain. Head up mate and live every day like it's your last. Andy
Steve's sad news has rather taken the edge off my day of firsts but today started with the Multi's first MoT which it passed. Had the first run out on the Metzler M7RRs which performed really well and had my first ride post ECU remap. Touring suited my riding style with smooth power with a bit more urgency at 7000 rpm. Sport is brutal, doesn't matter what gear or what revs, twist the throttle and off it goes like a scalded cat up to license losing or jailing speeds - awesome . Andy
My mate Roger just called round - in a Series 1 rag top E Type he has just bought :Wideyed: he just bought a 4000 odd mile GPz900 too for under £3K too. I've been raking the soil level for the patio - still more to do but resting now. Night out in York tonight on the beer
Well I'm just about to leave Dallas for the warmer climes of Orlando. The flight is delayed though. Quelle surprise:/

A mile in the pool. A definite improvement on the past 2 visits (faster, easier), so quite encouraging.
Skiing one day, then an endurance fondue and now swimming next-is this some specially unique swiss triathlon you're training for?
Removed 1098R forks and took them to the workshop for overhaul, ready for the new track season. Then plonked arse infront of telly and started catching up with all the qualifying and superpole for tonights WSBK racing. Big pizza and fridge full of beer at the ready. Bring it on !!
