Hi. This must have been asked before, but I'm new to this forum. Does everyone on a Panigale 1199 have noise problems on trackdays ? I want to take my Pani along but don't want to get turned away because of the noise. Mine has Termi, end cans fitted. I've been to Donington on a quiet day on my B-King where Pani's have been running, One was pulled off, but was OK on another run later. The guy said he was picked on, as he was in a group as they passed the sound checker. He also had Termi's fitted. I don't think it will be a prob on a noisy day there. What about static checks. How does the 1199 stand ? If it's going to cause problems, then I have to think about getting another bike for tracking.
Full termi....no problems. There are db killers for the termi's, I got them with the bike/exhaust but never fitted them. Ducati 1199 Panigale Termignoni DB Killers | eBay Not my listing, just saw them on ebay
As Niven said, you should have the DB killers with them maybe not fitted but you should have them in a box somewhere? Fit them and you should not have a problem.
Hi Yep I have the DB killers in my spares box. Will deffo take them with me, whenever I do a trackday. Been reading about the testing of Pani's, and it seems like they can fail the static test, but pass drive-by tests, because of the engine noise being so loud. I also read Ducati UK have spoken to the organisers about this, get a dispensation because of this.
