What Next For The 899 Now Theres A 1299?

  1. The 1199 has been superseded by the 1299. so what next for the 899?

    The 1098 went to the 1198 in 2009 and the 848 followed with the Evo in 2010 then the Evo Course SE in 2013.

    What do you think will happen to the 899? Just more bling front a rear of any major revisions?

    I reckon an 899s with Ohlins shock, colour screen and a cup holder

  18. I believe there is talk of an 899s being released in 2016 so it will prob have all the trick bits the 1199s had electronic suspension and other stuff.

  19. I don't think the streetfighter will benefit from an 899 engine it is to linear the 848 SF as it stands is nicely hooliganised IMHO
