Mot - Passed!

  1. My elderly zzr passed his mot today. That's his fourth while I've had him. Not bad for a bike I bought purely to keep for a month or two - 15k miles ago!

That's all I wanted to say reallY!

  2. My aim for this year is a smaller percentage of miles in the car and a larger amount on the 1198 and zzr. I'd like to get to the four corners of the mainland too, which would be a job for the Kawasaki.
(Oh, and more (read any!!!!) miles on the Monster, preferably self propelled. I'm getting bored with travelling on an AA truck with him!)

  4. I am very happy that none of our four bikes need MOTs any more. That is a result of moving to France where bikes don't have them or road tax. I have been to the four corners of the UK mainland in the past and it rained so this year we intend to go for a ride to Spain for a long weekend, and then another trip to Italy and Croatia. I just hope that it won't rain for these trips.

  5. So you're not en colere then?

  6. Saw a very nice ZZR1100 at super sausage today, still looks just as huge as they ever did! Fantastic bike though, Kawasaki at their best.

  7. :Wideyed: H1, H2, Z1, Z1R, Z1H, KR's, GPz, ZXR, ZX7, ZX10R, waaaaay down the list :)

  8. True, but what does the ZZR have in common with most of the bikes on that list? Four stroke four pots - Kawasaki do them better than most.

  9. Holy crap it's still quick. It may be 25 years old but it'd need a bloody long straight before my 1198 would pull away from it - if it even would. However, on a road with a bend or two it'd be a different story - much as you'd expect the zzr is a big heavy old bus that needs care and accurate lines in the twisted to make progress!
