HI Guys Just bought a 899 and I m not sure what exhaust to get? I want a full system but Termi only do cans from what I ve read. What are the Austin racing systems like?
1199 termi headers fit the 899,but the upmap for them does not work on the 899,but you should be ok with the upmap from the 899 cans.
Also very happy with my AR system, looks nice on the bike and the sound is cool, but even with the most restrictive sound dampening from AR installed, it is still loud :-/ Trackdays can be a problem without the track day end from AR, which is ugly
The Austin pipe is stupidly loud, you'll never get near a track with it. IMO it sound to brash as well. YouTube, there are a couple of vids.
A friend just fitted the AR to his 1199s and just returned from his first track day with the exhuast in Almeria, I think the only trackdays will be Europe.
I maybe wrong, but I thought there is warranty issues if you fit any thing other than Termignoni. Don't now how old your 899 is thou.
I don't really mind how it looks like, would just like a few more ponies, they say the inconel system gives 15 bhp extra?
Are you sure you can't get a full system Termi for 899 never known a Ducati that you can't get a full system for.
