you don't have to do nothing, its 100 % the same. Just pay for it bring to uk , send few forms do DVLA pay fee £55 and you have BRAND NEW DUCATI Multistrada S UK registered. Im hope buy it in next 3-4 months if I find 4 more buyers . The dealer is in POLAND in Krakow. Tomorrow will fly to Poland and will speak about that deal and will confirm it here. Can someone call to any ducati dealer in UK and ask about discount if order will be for 5 bikes? Thanks
It would show up as a import on hpi so naturally people would want it cheaper when you come to sell. Seems a lot of messing about when I'm sure if you haggle hard that discount should be achievable anyway here in the uk
is no chance get discount in uk ? in Coventry - no discount even when you buy 5 in London - dealer adding £400 for each bike to spend in the shop
Dunno maybe for 5 if they have stock, trouble is they are likley to have supply shortage. So why take a deal and discount when you can sell in time to pay DUK and make full profit? Not to metion sell direct and punter spends a few quid more on extras
When I was looking into the cost of the new MTS I was advised by both Riders in Bristol and Moto-Rapido that the touring pack if added at the time of ordering the bike, would be discounted to £945 all inclusive, which when adding the OTR stuff made the new bike overall £16,675.:Bawling:
just for update spoke with the dealer in Poland and here is the offer: 10% off confirmed (on this time) when 5 bikes order price for each bike - MTS RED S MODEL WITH TURNING PACK - £13560 + delivery to uk + put on road cost You buying the bike in Poland for £11300 NET Price When bike is in UK you'll pay VAT 20% (in POLAND the VAT is 23% so another ££££ you will save) Exchange rate En pound "£ "- PL zloty "ZL" - £1 = 5.63 zl (at the moment) still raising so should be better. On the and you will save : OVER £2500 on NEW MTS S MODEL WITH TURNING PACK (red color)
Went to coventry last week for options of getting new 2015 model. David the lloyds guy was adamant he didn't need to offer any freebies or extra's as they were sold out till late June. I said your not trying very hard for my business & then he offered £500 free service or the run-in 620 mile service & first proper service for free. Still the price for the S+ touring pack was just shy of £17k.
I am really struggling to justify paying that sort of money on a bike that will lose half it's value in around three years! I've just costed the price I would expect to pay after I've bought all the extras - not interested in buying the 'packs' because I only want certain parts in each pack - so looking at buying the parts separately (eg. centre stand, Termi end can and heated grips) and it all comes to £18k give or take a tenner. That's more than I spent on having my new brick garage built last year!!! I've wanted a Mutley since 2010. Didn't get one then because I'm a short arse and they were too big for my little short legs. I was so excited when I heard the 2015 is lower - but is it REALLY WORTH £18,000 for a bike I'm only gonna travel 4,000 miles on each year?!?!:Wideyed: .... I can see myself getting one eventiually - I'll probably buy a low mileage second-hand one in a couple of years...
You can achieved envy status or more importantly come to the conclusion that money doesn't always bring you happiness. Why wait till your older to buy the greatest touring bike that is extortionately priced!
Give it 12 months for both the novelty and the manufacturer cash grab to end. There will be better deals to be had when demand ceases to outstrip supply. You'll see things like panniers being thrown in again and have a more matured production run.
