  1. After last ride in October, a shoulder op in November and no real great weather to entice me out any way, I thought I wonder if the battery will be stone dead as I was too lazy to connect it up!

Oh ye of little faith! Key in, twist and press button......fired up as sweet as a nut! Run up to full temp and could be tempted out over the weekend.:upyeah:

Gonna be a bit rusty and better get the vitamin I out in case ;)

  6. First time out on mine in a couple of months yesterday as well. I popped over to the Oxford office from London for the day. I must admit that after a few months on the dirtbike the Panigale felt very alien and I didn't gel with it until coming back again. I think my tyre gauges show low as the pressure was too high and the bike felt very skittish. I let some air out on the way home and she returned to the beast that I know and love :) One thing I always notice is that it just doesn't seem to work properly until you are riding it harder, and as a result it wasn't really until I shifted into race mode that I started to enjoy myself and feel connected to the bike. I used her for work this morning and got in with a big smile on my face :D

  7. I too am due my first ride out since probably October/November and I usually just have a more leisurely ride first time out, sticking mainly to known roads and avoiding the little country roads as there is normally loads of grit, stones and other shite scattered everywhere.
I am a bit worried my leathers may have 'shrunk' over the winter as well, just got them the tail end of last season so only wore them once ( With the tags still attached !! ). They were a little tight then and really I should have returned them for the bigger size but I wanted a last ride on the bike and had sold my old ones so had no option but to wear them with the hope they would 'give' a little. Unfortunately my mid section appears to have increased during the break so I can only hope I can get into them or they will be in the for sale section soon !

  9. Fortunately I am still built like a racing centipede, so leathers fitted rather nicely to the point of some bird commented nice arse :)

  11. Yep :) put big grin on my face that did, I was queuing to pay for petrol, when the woman behind said "Nice arse in leathers" :D

  12. You sure the word was 'nice'..

  13. Yes Bradders, but I still had my helmet on she probably thought was some young bloke, she could have only been early to mid 30's

  14. Just for the record, not gonna wear me leathers just in case :Cyclops:

Although I might even have to get them tailored in if they are too big:p
