Well what a nice glorious day it was yesterday managed a rideout to mallory park on my new Gsxr 750 to watch a no limits trackday and in the sun it was glorious , can't wait for the next sunny day , when that will be who knows how many others managed a good day on the bike ?
yip got out two or three weeks ago raind since but sunny now. another two weeks then scortchio till end of june up here.
Been out yesterday and today, yesterday was a good 150 mile jaunt and felt soooooo good, today was a shorter spin but still good all the same Roll on next weekend hopefully picking up my new toy
sweet got myself a 2015 plate GSXR 750 with yoshi GP evo can till my claim gets sorted then hopefully a ducati turning the gixxer into a track bike , well thats the plan for now , but things change
Yeah I promised myself no more bikes when I got the 1199 in January that didn't last long eh. My mate has a gxr 750, 2012 model its nice but I can't ride it I find it really cramped and I am only 5ft 10"
It's a beast, I doubt very much I will ever see the red line in 5th or 6th, in 3rd it lifts at about 100mph in 4th today it got very light on the fornt end so I backed off the throttle sharpish I have no idea what my speed was or what revs it was doing as I was focussed on the road ahead of me
good idea focusing on the road ahead, but sounds like its to much for a road bike , i'm after a good cornering bike as thats what i like doing best Ron haslam trackday booked for the 8th april to work on cornering before i go on track on my own bike
