  8. popped into the dealers and picked up all needed for an oil change with all the O rings... also ordered a 14T front sprocket.

    have also travelled half way around the country & back. :(

  9. Took the car in for it's first service and walked into town whilst it was being done. Took advantage of the stonking strength of the pound to get Euros for next week. When I got home I had received an e-mail from the garage with a video from a head cam on the mechanic that showed him carrying out the safety check. Got the last jigsaw piece in the puzzle with car hire excess insurance, £14 for all the crap the hire car companies want to rip you off for because their comprehensive insurance that you pay through the nose for, isn't. Bikes should be arriving at Cartagena in a day or two, so 8 days and counting :). Andy

  10. I've had a meeting at the office with some clients from Jockland.

    I'm now in Manchester airport relaxing in the Emirates airline lounge making the most of their hospitality :upyeah:

  13. Cold but sunny on the slopes today, skied through to 2pm when my knees told me it was time to call it a day, shame because the resort is quite empty and the slopes are even more empty from midday to about 3pm (don't you love the french and their lunch breaks!!)

  15. I got mine from Thomas Cook on the high street, they offered more than the Post Office who are usually good. Money rate went up to 1.40 today and to get a tourist rate of 1.35 I was very pleased. Shop around and barter. Andy

    We sat in the sun having a good natter

    Off to sleep clinic tomorrow night at local hospital

  19. Are you going because you have sleep problems Viv?
    I would be interested to hear more about your experience as I have a friend with bad sleep problems .

    I wasn't aware that I did until needing a diagnosis for asthma or not
    It seems I may have sleep apnea
    I have a drop of oxygen and my body moves around so they want to investigate that
    I also notice sometimes when I'm about to drop off it feels like I have stopped breathing which could be happening while I sleep which I'm not aware of but could explain the tiredness

    I'm constantly tired and score 15 on the questionnaire that the hospital ask which is high

    I will let you know more
