  10. A non eventful drive back from the Alps yesterday evening until we got diverted off the A303 near Tidworth, witnessed an accident and spent what felt like five minutes but apparently was over an hour sitting in one of the cars talking to the driver to keep him awake and calm whilst waiting for emergency services to arrive and tHen do their bit, when I was told to get out of the car the neck and back brace were in position, the door cut off and they were about to cut the roof off. I hope it wasn't a serious injury. The couple in the other car were ok but shocked.
Today I have been tackling mountains of washing.

  12. Neither are your colleagues, especially the one you hate with a passion :p

  13. Jumped ship from Virgin Media to go to Sky, better package for the same price. I only had a basic tv package, and still have now, but at least I've got BT Sport now, and boxes for every room, for the same price. Of course, once I'd pulled the pin and rung Virgin to cancel my contract they immediately improved their offer. The wankers:mad:

  14. Well I had a very busy day till about 2.30pm then I had to deliver an offer for a small project.

On the way back I called in to Ducati Manchester to check on when my Scrambler Classic was likely to be delivered. Unfortunately they haven't got a date yet, but I ordered some accesories for it, to personalise it, that they'll fit when it arrives :)

Oh and I chose the reg number too :upyeah:

  15. I had to provide feedback today on my performance appraisal for the past year at work. I summed up my comments with the observation that I found my performance down-grading compared to last year "mysterious" and that I would have to work to remove any mystery from next years appraisal.

I wonder how my boss will interpret this marvellously ambiguous statement :D

I discovered that my 750 runs like a crazy bastard with its new fuel map but that its fuel economy figures are rather reduced - I'm getting something like 75% of my previous mpg. I'm trying to be cross about this but ... damned thing runs like a crazy bastard now and I cannot stop grinning when I ride it :D

  16. Saw the weather forecast for Cartagena for the next few days and decided we need to take the wheels with the wets. Easy jet are okay with that and I have spent the last 3 hours balancing the weights and packing the wheels in two parcels. All done and my girlfriend arrived with the scales and bottles of chilled Cobra. I love my girlfriend. One more day at work then flight out to Alicante Wednesday morning at the crack of sparrow fart. Lunch date at Tio Andre in Cartagena and on track Thursday. Andy
