  1. Is that a full system?

  2. Indeed it is mate. It's pretty raucous. I've got the Db killers but I'm wondering how to get it through an MOT! The original cans don't appear to fit....any ideas?

  3. Dunno mate, never kept one long enough to reach MOT age :)
If you take it back to the dealer you got it from it should pass ok.
I have the Corse SE with a full system, its having full ECU remap on the 27th of this month.

  4. Nice! Yeah fingers crossed it'll be fine. Got a couple of months before that anyway. I was tempted by the Corse SE but just couldn't stretch that far money-wise. I'm happy with this one though - always wanted a Duke since I had the 916 poster on my wall as a kid!

  5. I had the 848 Evo in 2011 had full system on that since then I have had the 899 and traded that in for the 1199 but always wanted another 848 I love the trellis frame frame and underseat exhaust.

  6. True that - I think the 899 etc lack something without the underseat pipes...but I've not ridden one so can't comment on the riding experience. I just love the noise of the full system - so addictive!

  7. the 899 rides nice but just seems to be lacking that certain something, mid to low end grunt.

  8. Looks good without that bin photobombing! They are a good looking bike...

  9. morning.

  10. Hello and congrats on the bike! Just fitted a full termi to mine. Love the way the car alarms go off blasting up the street. :upyeah:

Should be ok for the mot as long as you cover the "for race use" up with tape or something. Or just polish it out.

  11. Bloody hooligan bikers :)

  12. I forgot to put the DB killers in my termis for the MOT - I got an advisory  'pipes a bit loud' :)

  13. Mmm I'm suspecting I may have issues at test time....

  14. I think the bike shops are pretty lenient with regards to noisy pipes at MOT

  15. And there's the dremmel!

  16. i got my hyper mot'd at riders in bristol and i had race headers with termi end pipes, they said i have to let them have the stock end pipes with the bike in case they got spot checked...perhaps where you take yours will do the same...

  17. I'm hoping I will get away with the Db killers.... Took her out for a hoon earlier. I have to say I like the way it feels like the front wheel spindle is in your hands...this is compared to my last bike - Honda Blackbird...very competent but soulless. Anyone else find Hondas lack something in the personality stakes?

  18. Sorry to say but I find all Jap bikes souless

  19. I had a ball on all of these bikes, but none of them made me as enthusiastic about getting out for a ride as the 848:
Tomos 50cc scooter (Czech I think - lots of fun!)
Honda CG125 - managed to highside this...not sure how
Honda VFR400R - best handling bike in the world
Honda CBR600RR - nicked (so easy to get knee down...)
Honda CBR1100xx Super Blackbird - huge power, great on long sweepers but too soft for twisties
    848 - BOIIIIIINNNGGGG!!!
