An unbelievable bummer after what was probably my best day on track ever yesterday. I'll live for another day and it was only my pride that got hurt unlike a number of people who chose to throw themselves at the scenery and the one that someone else decided for him. Andy
Today rode down to the Brighton road, met up with several friends riding bikes as varied as a 1912 Triumph and a 2015 Panigale 1299 S. Then rode to Maidstone/Chatham road and met some more friends. 150 miles.
Fitted a pair of air tubes with integrated standard air filters. I now have an unwanted pair of carbon air tube cover. Steve
Went out on multi and 899,rode them back to back.Multi is such a good bike,it shows up the lack of bottom end grunt of the 899.Any one want to swap a 1098r for a 899 plus some cash ?
Did 140 miles of going nowhere in particular practising proper lines and keeping to speed limits:surprisingly hard work after 45 years of making it up as I went along. Silver Ball cafe was heaving, bumped into a couple of lads I hadn't seen forever. An excellent day all round
Had a very enjoyable run down to West Bay the back way trough the twisties. Didn't want to get off. I was in the zone.
100 yesterday and swimming this morning - you've not been doing your exercises over the winter have you ?
