New pre registered 2014 model year Tuono APRC ABS. Reg in Jan 2015 on a 64 plate. Warranty started upon collection so that was a bonus. Got it from Wheels in Peterborough. David was a nice easy chap to deal with. New otr at a tad over £10k which I thought was reasonable. I rode it c55/60 miles home and it is a truly mad thing.
Bradders I have about £1500 worth of Ducati accessories to sell first before I dare spend a penny on the Tuono. I get away with lots but she would strongly object to me spending on it first whilst I have a garage full of 1198 upgrade bits to sell.
I have these two as well. So maybe get rid of the SRAD this year for a big cruiser and then I have a balanced stable.
I have an SRAD 600, can't bring myself to sell it as hardly worth anything but a really great bike. Hoping it is a future classic.
lovely bike, ive got a 12 plate one i bough sept last year. i thought that i wouldnt change anything as i liked it so much try not to look at the tuoun v4 pics on aprilia forums as the temptation gets too much. enjoy your new bike, cheers arle
I am only looking at possibly changing the bars or risers. Probably a tail tidy, remove rear pegs and a smaller can just for the looks. It is an awesome bike and such fun without the need to do daft speeds too. Allan
Didn't do much with mine. Tail tidy, Akrapovic with decat, race map, Conquest Carbon bouts, Evotech levers and R&G bits. Its still ugly compared to my 1098 SF but goes and sounds pretty smart... edit: Yeah heres a link since in lining anything here is a ball ache recently Imgur
I have had it 5 years now and love it. However they are an acquired taste due to the fairly extreme riding position. However it is murderously fast. It used to run a bit hot but I have spent a bit this year on upgraded water pump, engine ice, samco hoses, alloy fans etc. It also has a microtec ECU and modded exhaust so it punches almost 180 bhp at the tyre on 95 fuel !
