Hi folks, Has anyone added the white number panel stickers to a mono seat cowl? If so is it a Ducati Part from the dealer parts dept only or are they available elsewhere? Are they like Stella Artois and reassuringly expensive? Cheers, DD.
I once bought one ages ago when I had my 749S and bought a carbon tail. I'm sure it was from Australia. absolute bitch to put on due to the contours of the tail. In the end I got it sprayed. It was either tapeworks.com or cutgrafix
Not sure how to post a link but Try ''Carbon trader''...does all sorts of decals and stuff, nice quality too.
Contact Ted or Graham at : http://www.the-image-works.co.uk OEM graphics, at much lower prices, or will make you anything you want. Top quality.
DD, mention the forum, and mark with Carbon Ducati. My all carbon xerox rep is on their race replica page. All done in decals, no paint on body work at all. All done on plain carbon body. 2005 Xerox rep, black looking bile with red frame, 3/4 way down page The Image Works Vinyl Graphics
Same here paint with relief for carbon image (its our company logo M2) with 'pin striping' and 'centre stripe' left the same.....
Thanks for the replies. The painted carbon one looks neat - a mate had a 888 with the SP5 "1" as carbon showing through the white painted panel in a similar way. I would like to try to get as near to possible to the genuine Ducati 999 Mono panel so I will go down the sticker route to start with and I am also hoping it will be cheaper than painting. I'll get some prices sorted out next week... Cheers, DD
