Absolutely. The scale of these things is overwhelming and you'd have to be 100% solid Luddite not to be impressed by them. I'm not far from Gosport as I type this but unfortunately I am at work. I am stuck here, doing my duty, posting on the forum ... I can't go gallivanting around looking at aircraft carriers.

Apparently it's not towed array, it's towed away (a way of moving broken frigates). Being an ex pongo,I no nothing of nautical stuff.
