This evening we went out for an early meal then went to the Holmfirth Picturedrome to see a band called Vintage Trouble. We first saw them a couple of weeks ago supporting Paloma Faith and they were brilliant. They did not disappoint tonight! If you not heard of them or seen them then do so! Fantastic live act playing fantastic music. The lead singer, Ty Tyler, is the love child of Lenny Kravitz and Rod Stewart!
Been watching the leader debate, so I'm just going to have to cook the things tomorrow morning. They haven't risen as much as I would have hoped, but we will see. There's 20, so I think I've got enough for Fig and Ducbird if they can get on a plane in time.
Just got back from the theatre having had a great night seeing Return to the Forbidden Planet. Mish mash of Shakespear's The Tempest and the original Walter Pidgeon/Leslie Neilson The Forbidden Planet. Very good cast, some of whom were very accomplished musicians. Not up to the Rocky Horror Picture Show standard but very enjoyable none the less. Andy
I made so much marmalade last year that I still have quite a lot of it left. But it's not going to last the year, so the next lot I make won't have bitter Seville oranges in it unfortunately. Still, I'm not that matters much (it also contains lemon and grapefruit).
