Anyone done this Mod? Lusuardi Racing have some kit that relocates the number plate from under the exhausts to 'on the rear wheel' I'm still deciding if I like it or not.. Below is a pic of a guys bike on ducati.ms who's done it. Tides up under the exhausts and I guess possibly from a functional perspective might reduce some of the spray. But then sometimes when I look at it, it just looks a little weird. I was going to get one of those but need my numberplate where it is to attach my luggage. wouldn't look right with a full size plate though Imo. I have a 5x4 plate on my bike with normal font and never had an issue with the feds. Just change it mot time
How easy is it to route the cabling and keep it looking tidy? Can you order without the carbon splash guard? My Italian's not good.
Hey Moses I don't know any more than what I found on the site and google translate. I suspect you can order without the carbon splash guard, that does seem a little excessive. With regards to the cabling... I can't see any cabling on their pic, so I suspect it is well thought through and hidden well, or their being dodgy and not wired it in which would be a surprise and pretty short sighted. I did just realise you'd need to come up with a solution for your indicators though.. I really like what Isaachunt did with his custom LED indicator jobey...
I think it looks like shit. One thing I don't like on the Diavel & Scramblers is the number plate on the wheel, the first thing I'd do is relocate it to the back of the seat - each to their own of course. Well you did ask...
Apparently the wiring runs through the swingarm, awkward to do but a neat job once done. Can't remember where I read that.
