It's is depressing so far none in our shop wait till kids go back then in it will come. Christmas is 3 months long these days grrrr

I can't think of Christmas till after my birthday in December. The 4th of December to be exact, just in case you wanted to know But please don't buy me anything too big or expensive cos I get embarrassed easily :wink:
Argh, I have my work colleagues talking about xmas saying they're going to put xmas songs on next week. I hate xmas songs. Especially any sung by Michael Buble.
Christmas should not be mentioned/advertised till after December 1st at the very earliest, and shops should be fined for displaying any Christmas related goods before then too!
I'm sure that there is some trading law that could be amended to prohibit Xmas iconography on commercial premises before, say, mid November. Maybe a Facebook campaign? This is something that makes most people unhappy.
Did we not used to have Halloween then bonfire night then a break then 1 st week in Dec the decorations start appearing? Hate Christmas ... Worst time of year for me, hate the stress , then after running about keeping everyone happy I usually end up on my own !!
Humbug here also...!!! Having decos in the shops this early will surely bring more people to our cause..
Any Christmas song...... bleugh... I loved our big family Christmases , really did . Sadly all our family has split up , My Mum likes a quiet Christmas with my Dad.. I used to have my grandfather to yak to at Christmas but sadly he passed.. so now its just horrible. Gone from my fav time of year to my worst.
My dad died at home on xmas day, so it's not exactly a celebration. But it's still an excuse to get together with family and have a good old natter, so I still enjoy it. I could happily do without all the americanised razzamatazz that goes with it, though.
