i read that the new Suzuki GSX-S has a "super start system" where the starter keeps spinning after one push on the button. When did we have this on a Ducati, and what's the opinion on here about it?
Always had it on both 1098's that i have owned, i assume it's on other Duc's as well. Works fine and does exactly what it says on the tin lol,
A high compression engine requires a firm start, which can be provided by a computer, not a stab at a button by a human thumb.
So,without superstart,I wouldnt be able to start it?By me,a mere human ,pressing a button,I wouldnt be able to start it?I suppose it is a complex proceedure isnt it.
Keep up man! technology has moved on in the last few years, who want's to hold there thumb on a button for two or three seconds nowadays. Talk about teaching an old dog new tricks!! Steve
been around for long time. your right thumb is for flicking yer fag not for holding down a button. good feature.
it;s cheaper to get the original fault fixed first than to just sit there with yer finger on the button burning out your starter waiting for the fecker to start
