Super-start System

  1. i read that the new Suzuki GSX-S has a "super start system" where the starter keeps spinning after one push on the button. When did we have this on a Ducati, and what's the opinion on here about it?

  2. Always had it on both 1098's that i have owned, i assume it's on other Duc's as well.
    Works fine and does exactly what it says on the tin lol,

  3. Whats the point?If I press my bikes starter,it starts.If it doesnt,Ill press the starter again.

  4. A high compression engine requires a firm start, which can be provided by a computer, not a stab at a button by a human thumb.

  5. So,without superstart,I wouldnt be able to start it?By me,a mere human ,pressing a button,I wouldnt be able to start it?I suppose it is a complex proceedure isnt it.

  7. Keep up man! technology has moved on in the last few years, who want's to hold there thumb on a button for two or three seconds nowadays. Talk about teaching an old dog new tricks!!

  20. it;s cheaper to get the original fault fixed first than to just sit there with yer finger on the button burning out your starter waiting for the fecker to start
