  1. Was wondering idly about the age of people's main transport.
    Poll is for the bike/car you do the most miles on/in.

    My suspicion is that people run older bikes but not older cars. But I could be wrong.

  3. My Lexus is wafting past 183000 miles, it's no spring chicken..... Neither of my bikes has less than 30000 miles..
    I'm only young myself of course- less than 10 years old.

  4. Main mileage bike is a 2002 R1, main mileage car is a 2005 Renault :Happy: I don't waste money on A to B cars and my other has doubled in value in 6 to 7 years :D

  10. You have to factor newer bikes are generally less cost than newer cars, so far easier to buy a newer bike.

    My Bikes are newer at present. than my Car and vans, but my total spend on newer cars or a new van far could mean I could own 3 or 4 more newer bikes

  11. spent more buying the last two bikes, than i have the last 15 cars including maintenance. honestly.

  20. I wouldn't buy French on principle. Have you ever tried working on it?

    IMHO

    Good French
    kissing, trains, Toast, bread, garlic, cheese, cinema, connection (film), car adverts.

    Bad French
    Cars / vans, letters, arm pits, breath (mainly due to the garlic), politeness, red wine (or at least over rated at the price).


    *Thread hijack....it's allowed in the lounge.
