I am doing the Ron Haslam Race school up at donington park and really looking forward to it its done on their Honda CBR600RR trackbikes and with expert tuition , its great for improving road riding and getting a feel for trackday riding aswell , without the hassle of using your own bike If you look at their website it will tell you alot more , get yourself onit and if you ring up they are more than helpful and will probably give you a discount aswell Win Win situation , once you have been out on track you will be hooked I'm in this for nothing but mention you heard about it on this website and the more we get on track the better, safer than the road
How did you get if for free mate? The intro course on the CBR600RR that you have to do first is a bit too short and sparse for people that have done track days already. You then get discounted on the elite course on the fireblades which are excellent, and the price is really good with the discount as you effectively get the track to yourself due to having priority over all the riders on the slower bikes who pull to the side for you. Be aware that the courses still run in the rain which can be pretty frustrating when you were looking forward to an epic fast day, but then again it's no different to a normal trackday and you still learn a hell of a lot.
Don't think he meant he got it for free , but is getting nothing out of the plug , but then again I'm probably wrong (wifey regularly tells me so..). Nice pics btw. Nice1 , I'm interested in this one mate, full price of premier 600 is £295, how much discount could I expect?
Hi mate i didn't get it for free just a great trackday experience for those not wanting to use their own bike and excellent staff really helpful, just thought i would pass on my experiences with these guys , this is my 3rd time with the Ron Haslam race school, the 1st and 2nd were along time ago though.
Just booked in for the premier 600, helpful telesales said if I say MCN I would get a £45 discount . Asked if I said it 7 times would I get in free but she wasn't having it.. :Greedy:
Big day is nearly here 1st trackday tomoz of this season at the ron haslam race school really looking forward to it and fingers crossed for the weather then hoping to do many more on my own bike after getting into the swing of thinggs

What a day learnt so much and a couple of added bonuses was i now feel what its like to back a bike into the foggy esses , front wheel off the ground going under the not no more dunlop bridge not sure what the straights called and to top the day off i got my knee down now for the Elite course
Well I didn't get my knee down today but I did have both sides of my tyres out to the edge and I am soooooo proud that the RHS is now looking chewed almost like a pro racer
