Hello everybody. After decades with Japanese bikes, I've just bought my first Ducati. It's a 999s 2003. The bike cannot be more beautiful, and handles superbly. But I'm struggling a bit with body position. Shall I get some adjustable rear sets? There are many different types out there, e.g. Woodcraft (£310), Gilles (£383), Lightech (£299), VooDoo (£270), SCM Racing (£210). With so many offers, I'm really confused. Any suggestions? Cheers,
Thank you very much. Yes, it's a monoposto. Didn't know the seat/tank unit is adjustable. This is a good tip. Thanks a lot!
Hi try Gia moto rear sets, his business is Consort engineering in Beccles Suffolk, i have got some on my 1198 they are great, not sure if they have any for the 999 though? they make all the parts in house and are great value.
Say a prayer for me now Bless you and welcome into the warm mad house I see you have met the angelic locals I'm no good with body position just grip on with your thighs
Thanks Old Rider. I've noticed that. I'll try to play around the standard rearsets + seat and, if it doesn't work, go for something else. Keep you posted. Thanks again
