My bike was delivered back to me yesterday from JHP so I went to show it off at Colchester Kawasakis 'Classics on the Quay' show today. Had a nice chat with Tommy Hill, Danny Buchan and a Mr Carl Fogarty who also kindly signed my tank for me.
Picked the runner-up in the National. But then of course the other two horses didn't do anything (although they did finish) so I will have won about a tenner. Cambridge were thrashed in the Boat Race again, but seeing as they only have one Brit rowing whereas Oxford at least have 4, I can't say that I feel they really represent me in any real way.
Just finished an 18 hr shift at work! Looks like it's going to piss it down tomorrow as well. Glad I went out for a blast yesterday.
Today was a beautiful day to go riding so I gassed up the bike went about 10 kms on the highway & I noticed a trail of smoke coming out the back so I looked down to my right foot & see that my boot & pant leg are covered in oil, I pull off to the side to a safe place & shut the bike off...the whole right side was covered in oil & this was the result... I really hope it's nothing too serious...hopefully just a hose or seal!
The oil was brand new because it was the start of riding season, maybe the oil filter wasn't tight & it loosened off!
Odd there should be oil dripping out half way up the fairing. Keep us posted in Technical. Hope its nothing catastrophic. Still, good opportunity to refill with Plutoline Nanotech which is better because its blue.
