  1. Nice one Steve, I know how you love these beasties. Wouldn't mind one myself but who can afford one in Aus!!

    I'm on the hunt for an early 90s 900SS/SL though. Preferably white frame white wheels ... I'll even consider importing one if I could find a minter and there was no urine extraction going on ...

    A mate of mine, a kiwi, does the occasional import so I reckon I might grab a beer with him shortly and pick his brain. Too good to miss really. Even the $12k NZD bike becomes $9k AUD before import costs ... hmmmm, cheaper ones around and my preference would be for a white frame, white wheel 900SS... anyway, cheers Dave and we should give the thread back to the 888'ophiles :smile:

    Fitted the loom nice and neat
    Just need to do the front and fit all fairings.
    I Need a rad cap, gear change rod and some new grips.

  16. I'll let the new owner spill the beans Darren!

    I have found a set of 888/900ss clocks which pablo is sending me and i need to get hold of a electronic rev counter to replace the cable drive one........
    Can someone please give me the diamension of the hole in the bezel I/D mm i think its 80mm but could be wrong ?

  17. Not me - ad had been pulled before I'd seen it ..... my '851 project' still consists of an alloy tank..... and nothing else!

    Don't worry about the mudguard mate, most have been hacked off.
    So get it on the road mate, where it belongs. :wink:
