Having been the proud owner of an 1199 for a week now I was surfing the web as I have the gear sensor problem :-( I stumbled across this PDF of torque settings and while I don't use them a lot, I find they're very nice to have. It took an age to load the page on the Internet and it didn't appear very easy to find, so I thought I'd share it on here! I also found the spare parts catalogue which is wonderful for exploded parts diagrams. However it's 23Mb so unless someone asks for it (it's pretty easy to find on the Internet) I won't post that
It's a 2012 bike. On turning on the gear indicator shows a dash which turns off EBC and DQS, the red square with Gear Sensor shows also. After 5-10 miles it all comes on and works fine... until you turn off that is. Even a short stop causes it to happen again but it comes back quicker. Irritating more than anything, especially as I can't start the bike on the stand.
This list is really helpful, especially since I'm just about to change out some of my fasteners for aftermarket versions. I know that 90% of the values you'd need are the same as the 899 but just in case, was there an 899 version at the same place? If so is it possible to have the PDF/link? Good detective skills btw! ompus:
