Hello From Sunny Guildford!

  1. Hi all.

This year determined to make more use of my year 2000 750 ss i.e that I've had since 2005! It's only done 7500 miles from new. Trouble is I bought it just as I got seriously back into cycling. It also has to contend with competition from the other Italians in the household - Abarth 500, Vespa and Alfa GTV V6.

I've done all the fluids and filter changes but it's going in to have new belts (must be still the originals!), fork oil, brake lines (anyone recommend anything - was thinking the braided HEL lines over Goodridge?) new chain and sprockets (went for renthal rear, up 2 or three teeth, can't remember which off hand). It's had new tyres and I had to replace the tank due to the dreaded rust (my fault for not brimming or draining it). Luckily eventually found a mint tank in Germany in the right colour (red) complete with pump and filters for £200 delivered.

So hoping the weather holds - the aim is to use it for commuting more now I have a commute of about 80 miles/day.

    Happy riding!

  5. Hi, welcome to the fun :D

  6. The two tone ones are lovely. Ours is white and black. They are great fun - they're like little hooligans! The new Biposto version is insane. (both the concept and cost!)
