R&g Tail Tidy 899 Fitting Issues

  1. I have been having some issues fitting the R&G tail tidy to my 899, got half way through last nigh and realised I had to put together the indicator connectors to be able to connect the lights at the back, plus the instructions on the R&G web sight proved of little use, I'm not a mechanic by any means but was expecting plug and play as the sales man stated befor I purchased the kit,

    Does any know of a run through video I can see to make it a little easer for my none technical self.

  2. I used the original indicators and it was plug and play. Un-clip from the loom during removal of the original hanger and clip back together upon fitting of the tailtidy, checking left/right handing first. The only bit of wiring was a simple cut and shut job for the number plate light. Sorry I can't be more helpful though.

  3. Pack it up, send it back and buy a Bruudt.
    That's what I did as I thought the R&G was shite.

  4. I Have the R&G Kit on mine,

    when I got it out the box I though Feck this - this looks to complicated, so after 3 or 4 beers I decided to give it a go and was pleased that it all went smoothly,

    I even shocked my self on how easy it was , Note I am using the original indicators mind

  5. Yeah I kinda wish I had of just stuck to the original indicators but it's all on now and looks ok
