Thanks Merv I'm just having a thought I ate a chilli beef pizza last night It was mega hot so I took off the green bits with seeds My throat felt like something was stuck in it after I'm wondering if I have a reaction to it?
get outside and cut the grass/wash the car/polish the drive. Pah, bit of a sniffle and its woman flu.

This morning attended an IAM/Tri-county Police/Fire Brigade "Biker Down" course. I'm sure loads on here have done it,so won't go into details, suffice to say that I found it very interesting and definitely learned stuff...which of course I hope I never have to repeat. As is normal when you get a bunch of old gits in a class room, the endless hypothetical questions dragged it over the time allowed and I had to scoot before the last module....I'm sure some of the Instructors were casting envious looks at me as I baled out early, leaving them at the mercy of the aforesaid old gits.... Had to leave because I had sold my old 1200 Trumpet earlier this week on the Bay of Dreams, and the guy was schlepping up from Southampton to collect his....er....prize... He wouldn't take it for a test ride even though I told him he should,he just wanted to take it as seen and live with the consequences...and ebayers wonder why there are so many negative stories..*sigh* In the death I said I'd hang around for 30 minutes after he left, and if he brought it back in one piece I'd refund him in full.Haven't heard anything so I assume he's happy with it,fingers crossed anyway. It's been a pretty good day,so far
Rode the 999S to Loomies, Bogs Ill and then back to Loomies. Chatted with a nice chap named Pete who was on a Superlight Mk1. Saw my first Scrambler and ... I have to say, it looked pretty good The roads though ... Choked, rammed, chocka with cars, tractors, vans, cyclists. Like fucking locusts they were, consuming every square millimetre of road space. All of them milling around with no purpose in life and of no use to anyone. We need a plague. Oh, a different plague, I mean. We already have a plague of fucking locusts. We need a partial extinction event, a natural one preferably but if it needs to be manufactured, let me know.
Charged the battery on the 748 and took it out for the first time this year. Either my legs are shrinking of the seat is getting higher. Either way, I guess I may be part-exing it this year after 6-7 happy years.
