Finally got out for a decent blast........ .......Gave it hell; high revs, low gears; then sustained high speed for the first 15 miles.......... I was using the theory 'If it doesn't break now, it should be alright'.......... Could smell petrol, though..............buggered if I could tell from where..........a small drip from the overflows is all I could see, but none had dripped onto the inside of the fairing (Mind you I had brimmed the tank)......
What time of day did you brim the tank? Serious question. If you fill up in the cold morning and then leave it out in the sun until things warm up, you'll get overflow issues. You knew that though
Filled it in the afternoon..........Yes, I did know it....... ....but I can smell the petrol while riding.............I think it's coming from the flame trap box in the frame.
