1200 DVT I Will Get It Next Week!

  1. Looks better in the flesh. The old multi looks better when panniers loaded up. This looks better on its own. The front gives Panigale vibes. But its not humongous like the KTMs or BMWs

  2. When touring I usually put all my toiletries in the tank bag. Off the bike straight into the loo! Not sure if this version is quite big enough so for longer trips I might have to add a bigger bag.
Whole thing look cool though I must say.

  3. There is a bigger tank bag which you can get separate to the Urban pack. The USB charging port and tank cap fixing ring is available separately. All accessories are actually available now. check out the website. I believe the larger bag has a snorkel for the USB hub.

  4. Yeah I could see some connections just wasnt sure if you did that orthewere stdard fit. Like that

  5. The tank looks very high compared to the 2013-14 bike. I know the seat is lower but i believe the tank is higher too. Has this changed the feel of the bike at all?

  6. The tank bag is just a rebranded Givi bag. I wonder how they price compare?

I did get my phone (Iphone6) connected to display, when you are in pairing mode and in motorbike display is code 0000 then press and hold enter/menu button and then write that code on your phone.
Shcuberth c3pro was easy to connect, just press the helmets buttons to connect mode and select on motorbike display pairing mode and you are connected.

Has anyone got any info from the ducati multistrada link app ? when it will be available ?

  8. That display looks good. Like the nifty little side stand indicator. I thought the app was already out there? No idea though but I seem to have read a lot about it.

  9. Begs the question...why link phone to dash then dash to helmet, why not just direct? Not a fan of music while riding

  10. Ducati multistrada link app is available, but it only shows ducati commercials at the moment. You cant change settings of the motorbike thru your phone, yet..

There is aloth of info on the display, but you can select what you want to have on it, in that picture is every info displayed.
Like i said before, it really needs quite aloth of time to get to know how to change settings on display, there are so so much what you can do, and slowly it is starting to feel quite easy to navigate.

  11. Well i think it is good idea to connect phone to dash and helmet to dash, now i can change songs thru motorbike left side up and down button, very easy :)

  12. That was the same with my current BMW with the wheel knurl that changes the menu's. Took a little time to get used to and at first I thought was complicated but I dont even think about it now it just works.

  13. That tft screen is so cool. Nice to hear bt works ok.

  14. Displays track information and also allows control from handlebars.

Not all headsets integrate with satnavs well, so I guess that is helpful as well. Remains to be seen when I play with mine.

    Zumo 590 is a disappointment.

  15. If you guys want to see picture`s of the rear end, i can take few pics later today,i did take the top box and all fittings off.
My opinion rear looks so much better without top box fittings, and i have also ducati led blinkers installed, blinkers look very good :)

  16. How long did It take to off the top box fittings? 15 min?

  17. About 15 min, most of the screws are torx 27.

  18. Ok. I might dry that sometimes if I want to look cooler and faster[emoji1]

  19. Great looking bike, keep the pics coming.
The big question for me is, will the current top box kit fit the 2015 model or will I have to buy a new adapter kit?

  20. I wondered this.

The plate on which the topbox fits looks almost the same to me.
