  1. I think you need a new adapter kit. Top box is the same. I would have preferred the red on but I am starting to adapt to silver one too.

  2. I'm keen to know if the changes they made to the seat to lower can be made to the 14 model. Long shot but who knows...

  3. This beast is at its best right here on these twisty country roads[emoji12][emoji12][emoji12][IMG]

  6. Simple - punch a producer! :upyeah:

    Keep enjoying fella.

  7. More than 400 km so far. Driving impressions. I have owned ds1000, 1200 Touring and now this new one.
All Multis have been fun to ride. They feel light and easy to ride. They love twisty roads and sporty riding. This concept is so nice because you can ride like mad with horns growing out of your helmet or make a Europe tour with your wife doing 500 km per day feeling relaxed after that.

This new one has these same basic elements but in a more sophisticated package.
Riding position is spot on for me. Hands and ass do not suffer. Head and body is well enough wind protected.
Engine is smooth and powerfull. Clutch and gearbox are smooth and work fine. Throttle grip has little bit longer movements than previous one. You have to move the throttle litle bit more. I did not notice a lot of difference between touring and sport mode power map. I prefer to keep the sport mode on. You can keep it city riding too. I noticed that there is no on off feeling when you open and close the throttle.
I have been rather conservative with the rpm. First 1000 km you should avoid more than 6000 rpm. Of course I have opened the throttle every now and then but not much.
Brakes are very good. Back brake is nice effective. I use it very little.
I like new dash and buttons. Cruise is very easy to use and it keeps the speed well.
Mirrows are as good as 2011 model you see what you need to see.
What I would like to chance?
Maby little bit better helmet buffering protection. If they make touring screen I might buy that.

Guys in Porgo Panigale have been innovative. Ducati flag is flying high. You can see that in new 1299 and Moto gp and Wsb too.

  8. This is how rear looks without any top box fittings, those led blinker are ducati genuine ones, KOSO seem`s to be manufactured them.. IMG_1492.jpg IMG_1493.jpg IMG_1494.jpg

  9. Another question of the new multi if I may.
The large black plastic oval shaped mud guard that hangs off the back of the swing arm, on the previous models you could simply unbolt it and cast it aside still leaving the full chain guard. From pictures I have looked at of the new one it looks like that's no longer the case, the chain guard and the mud guard are all in one, could someone confirm this please

  10. Hyside have told me their demo should be ready for this Saturday.

    Getting closer now :)

  11. I must check that when I get back home. I found this picture from service manual.

  12. Have you seen this thread
Navihalter Multistrada 2013/14 | Ducati Forum

I have my sat nav in this "GS location" on my bike, its really great as you don't have to look down to get your directions.

  13. That looks really cool. It just might make 15 model screen adjustment little bit difficult. I am not totally satisfied with the current navi position. It hides the left part of the lcd screen. I must adjust it a little bit. If I but it more laterally it touches the tankbag.

Does this help? the upper part is rigid and the rest is connected to back tyre mud guard.

  15. You can still adjust the screen when riding with this mount, you just have to know where to put your hand but it is still perfectly possible.

  16. Yes thanks it does confirm my thoughts, ie if you remove the rear mud guard you also loose the back section of the chain guard

Once again thanks for the pictures and keep the feedback of your new bike coming through

  17. thanks for the update i am very interested in the riding position now the seat is lower on the 2015, All the reviews i read talk about how good it is for the smaller riders, I am 6' 1" do you think it would be better or worse then the older multi??

  18. Its better because its lower and I have not even dried the lower seat position. I am 1.83 m and I had no problems with 2011 Multi but 2015 model it bit lower even with upper seat postition and the seat is narrower. It is easier to move the bike when parking. Knee angle has not suffered even though the ground clearence is 2 cm higher. That was a concern for me because I have long legs

  19. I have long legs as well and i was a bit worried that i might fill a bit cramped on the shorter 2015 as i get a lot of pain in my knees on a long ride. So i'm very pleased to hear that you are happy with the riding position thanks again.

  20. The bike is fantastic :) just a dream to ride. I'm short with 32 inside leg, I've lowered the seat and it's ok for me, around town it's brill, yesterday the sun was out and I was up in the hills playing just fantastic .
