Hi Guys, Can anybody possibly assist me with the : FastBikeGear's User Guide for Ignitech TCI-P4 pdf manual I cannot purchase from the online shop via Paypal, the transaction submit crashes all the time, and no customer support? Thanks! K
Eventually got the manual...:Muted: Any specialist KEIHIN FCR 41/ IGNITECH/ DYNATECH DC3-2 GURUS out there that can please steer me in the right direction. Installation, setup, mapping, possible TPS + bracket sourcing would be most appreciated. Kit bought, waiting for courier to deliver Regards K
Thanks Liam, bought it from you on Friday, you have sent me the PDF. Good Info there. Do you possibly sell the curve maps? Its for a stock Ducati 900SL, 1996 model, K&N airfilter, FCR41's and Silmotor carbon Slip on cans. Thank you Regards Kurt
For your fairly standard engine just use the standard Ignitech Ducati Map as your starting point. If you had high compression pistons or other internal head modifications I would vary from the standard map but your mods will have done little to alter the speed of the frame front inside the cylinder.
For the past few years we have given our unofficial Ignitech manual away for free to literally hundreds of Ignitech's customers and received terrific and very satisfying feed back. During this period we have constantly improved and expanded it to cover new features added to the units, tips, recommendations and explanations. We have just added more diagrams to it and more detailed advice on which spark plug leads and coils have proven to give the best results (We have done a huge amount of on road testing and testing with an ignition scope to determine which combinations deliver the best performance). A decision was made earlier this year to charge a small fee for the manual to cover this ongoing work, ($10). I hope everyone understands this is not a get rich quick proposition but a way I can encourage myself to continue the service. You can read some customer reviews on our manual here and in many of the forums. The manual can be ordered from our web site here. The manual will be emailed to you as a PDF. Many thanks Liam Venter [email protected] FastBikeGear, Importers and Distributors of Motorcycle Accessories
So I buy your stuff then have to pay more to know how to use it?! why not just add any development cost into the price?
@bradders Because he sells some but other retailers do as well, so he is spending time and money on development for no return in a lot of cases, so I think he is warranted in charging for this info, maybe he supplies his customers with it free of charge?
Ar right so the manufacturer dont supply anything? Got it, assume that if you buy off the, direct then the manual comes foc...
We supply our 30+ page manual for free when you buy the units from us (and free phone support and setup assistance for our customers) and of course the manufacturer supplies 7 pages of instructions sheets with the unit. Our manual goes far beyond just the setup of the Ignitech units and covers recommendations on matching components, tips, technical explanations and much more. You can buy the units elsewhere and buy our manual from us for $10. Given the hours and hours of R&D that we have put into developing our expertise on these units not to mention the time put into writing it and continually updating it, I think you will agree this is one of the worst get rich schemes ever. I originally started writing the manual just for my own reference because I quickly began discovering things Ignitech instruction sheets didn't cover that were paramount to optimising the unit. I quickly realised that it had turned into a fairly useful resource and decided to make it available to others to assist them. The $10 per copy just covers my administration costs and puts a bit of pressure on me to keep updating it, which is good for everyone. I think anyone who has used the manual will attest to it being pretty informative and good value. I hope people can accept this.
