  1. Any recommendations for fast road/track? EBC HH or something else...I run Corbo Lorry on myrace bike but think the race compound wouldn't be great to use over the winter I intend to be blatting around on the EVO preparing for an onslaught in 2013!

Ps I did search...nothing if substance came up....

  2. pf 95 compound

  3. I've got a set of these that are nearly new going cheap, if you want to try them.

I struggled to keep them hot enough on the road tho, they just encouraged me to ride harder.

    Scandinavian Brakes Systems

I'll measure the material left on them, but I'm sure they are as new really.

  4. unpopular in some quarters but currently using ebc hh compound and they are great, had pf before these and brembos, ebc stop as well if not better, but the most important factors are well bled lines, and cleaned pistons allowing full and free movement.

  5. Not had the ones out of mine yet but in the wet today they left a lot to be desired and bearing in mnd these are the monoblocs the brakes are miles worse than my old P4s on race bike and from what I remember on 848 I had before. Will give em a clean up and see what is in there; may have been replaced with race pads which wold explain it...

    Any good retailers?

  6. SBS were what I have used for racing; awesome stopping pwer but first lap no brakes  Cant be doing with that on the road

  7. That's why I took them straight out of the road going 848.

I put m4 mono blocs on it and put these in and thought there was something wrong with them....till I got the pads hot, then they were great, but just too hard for me to keep hot on the road.

I changed them for one of the other SBS pads (can't remember which now) and the m4's are mega with them from cold.

  8. I found EBC HH faded in hard track use. Bendix have been good for me at very reasonable money, otherwise PF or Carbon Lorraine SBK3s.

  9. Bendix MF work very well all round and for the money take some beating. Had no bad feedback in 7 or 8 years now.....

  10. Me too :upyeah:

  11. I was advised not to use EBCs on the Brembo, so Ive got some PF pads about to go in. Didnt even taken the EBCs out of the packet

  12. Whipped pads out, look like lots of life left, Bendix BX-100-HH MCR 341 written on the back. Googled are cant find if they are race or road pads. Any ideas?

  13. MCR are more a track day pad than road. Will still work but needs a bit of heat first. MF would be a better choice.

  14. Cheers Nelly, would explain why felt had no brakes most of Sunday in the piring rain! Ones to stick away for trackdays and get me some std pads for the winter road riding.

Thought they may have been as it was like the first lap of racing; needed emergency stop to slow and after I'd used them a bit they came in
