  3. I have a Gardner he did it yesterday and mentioned the cat mess

  7. Kato has started to wake me up at about 6:30 demanding food.
    This is extremely annoying as I work my sleep time out to wake up not before 7:30. He is depriving me of an hour's sleep.
    He's very insistant, such that he will make your life a misery until you give in to his demands. My dogs have never been like this.
    I could hit him over the head with a blunt instrument, but I don't have the heart.

  10. Plant some lavender or spray diluted lavender oil anywhere you don't want cats to trespass.

    It's effective, I've always found, and humane.

  17. Just back from a week in Spain. The wifey didn't want the cats in a catery so organized someone to let our 2 cats out each morning and in each night, feed and clean litter tray. Only issue in full proof plan was a broken door key hence no ability to get in/out. Luckily, they were locked out not in so have been fed on the back step all week. Had VERY worried wife and kids. Got really affectionate cats now though. They seem to have figured how good they have it. I was hoping to lose at least 1.
