Im toying with the idea of getting rid of the 848 and maybe the Speed Triple too for a smaller naked......
Big and white...and joking aside thiking of selling as too big (tall) for the drive at my new house and getting a t5 sized one.
Mine may be up for sale (sorry for the drift) mot til Jan, 60k on recon engine and 260k on clock, always starts if battery isnt flat (alarm and use every 2 months dont match!) its motorapido old van, renault master mwb high top 52 plate but on a special ducati private reg at the mo...what we talking for the SF
Not sure, I'll ask how much for the SF, I k ow what you mean about high top vans, much better lower unless you want to stand up and actually work in it
Was going to convert to racevan, tahts what I have it for, windows and power but have used so little its not worth the investment...remember I have to pay peolpe
17k classed as high milage? MV looks very tasty, probably make a nice change/fresh start from the Ducati scene etc. Normally for me, when I begin to think 'should I sell my bike' it usually is the right time to sell even if u feel attached to it. You'd do well to put it back to standard and make ur money up on selling the aftermarket parts and accessories. Lovely bikes you have!
I would hang on to it until the end of Summer I have an MV and am a member of the U.S. Based site. I love the new MV's but MV seem to be worse at letting there customers do the road test and development of there bikes than Ducati. Spares and Warranty work seems to take ages I really hope you don't need it but if you did have teething probs you still have a bike for the summer
Yes - but there is still a monster and 1098 in the garage I will give it another month see how it goes
I think you should exercise caution Chris. I think you should keep the 996 at my house and let me ride and look after it to see if you miss it (I'd give it a year at least), while you purchase an MV. If you don't 'feel' the MV thing, then you still have your 996 with all the miles you would have done still on it free of charge ...simples...
