  1. Hi just wondering if any of you chaps could give me a price range of my 916sps 1998 model, I've owned her now for around 9 years but now I fancy a change still Ducati though, it was garaged for 5 years until I brought it out of storage last year, new liquids, full service new belts new tyres new sprag clutch it's just been mood and taxed, tyres have done 600 miles michelins dual compounds, she has ohlins front and rear . It has a lot of extras but I also have all the original parts to go with it, both sets of cans, corse paddock stand, original Ducati bike cover original clocks, everything is there, just a in the ball park price, don't get me wrong I love the bike I just want to go newer, please help
    Cheers

Bloody predictive text, it was wotsits I tell you lol

  4. The only model sps to have

If you have the std stuff (you say you do), 10k would be my guess as they seem to be up for silly mmey. Not sure how many sell though. Although put back to std and you'd probably get that plus a few quid more for the extras

  5. Mileage dependent

  6. Oooh padded paddock stand :upyeah:

  7. A wish I could let it go for that sort of money but I'm after another late model 1098 preferably the r model, so I'm after good money I'm afraid, I've seen them advertised for silly money. I want to sell mine not just advertise it
    Cheers

  8. Cheers bradders , I was hoping to do a deal with a 1098, without putting back to standard, but also willing to give all the original parts for whoever buys her to do them selves, I must admit it rides lovely with the parts that are on it, and it stops great with the newer callipers on her

  9. Best money always gets paid for totally standard, then ironically peolpe go out and buy the rest! Lol

  10. digitek dash as well.....

  11. :)
Looks a beaut, gotta be worth £10k all day, if the mileage and history is good then pushing £12k, definatley good advice from @bradders to put back to standard though, love the seat cover!

  12. Keep it don't sell you will regret it.

  13. Worth more without the Ducati Sporting Club sticker

  14. I've kept her for 9 years now. Come to think about it the bike I sold to buy this one was my beloved 888 which I loved also, still wish I had this one but the wife said I can't have the 2 bikes, bummer, it would be nice to get £10k that would help for my next venture,
    Cheers.

  15. On there to stop it from scratching, and to keep it warm when it's cold, you know how cold metal gets

  16. I have seen a lot advertised for over a year in the 10k+. I was xonsidering getting one. Those have have not shifted though.

I have seen some advertised in the 6.5k not super tidy and they get snapped up. Somewhere around 8k seems to sell with a bit of patience. 10k you might find but you'll have to wait a while for the guy with the money and running out of patience.

  17. £9.5k totally standard, £8.5k as it is.

Put it back to standard, sell the parts and you may have enough for an average 1098r

  18. Are they not still dropping in value though and his increasing?

  19. Correct, however if he keeps 1098r for 9 years like the sps then he'll easily make his money back +. He would have brought the sps at a similar age to what an old R would be now and would have been similarly desirible...so it's all kind of relative.
