  4. Shit

  5. I like the Lotus, especially in green. Its got a sort of 1930's Mallard/Flying Scotsman look.
I don't know whether its a beautiful motorcycle but I think its a beautiful object.
I'd love to have a go on one if anyone's offering...

  7. That man is sticking his knee out whilst travelling bolt upright. The bike is ugly enough on it's own without the one-man circus aboard it:mad:

It's a drawing Gimlet. I used to draw motorbikes. Difference is I never got paid for it. And the guy that drew the picture has never ridden a motorbike in his life. Ever.

  8. I can see where they got the idea from:

  9. It was either something stupid like a relay or indicator or the like. It was early SB I think. Christ your making me dig through my memories now. Right back to a tiny concrete garage in the middle of London behind a block of flats about 18 years ago. Was it SB3?

  10. I agree. the Busa is a hideous thing. All that stupid melted bodywork. Its like a cartoon bike. And completely unnecessary. Isn't it Exige who's got a former speed record holding Busa which manages to produce stacks more power and go way faster than the stock bike without all that ridiculous styling? Looks like a proper bike. I'm sure he posted a picture of it somewhere. Probably this thread if I could be arsed to look.
Perhaps he'll post it again to show us the acceptable face of Busering. :Watching:

  11. And it would scare the shit out of you :Finger: ugly isn't a criteria at 400kph :)

  12. a lucky escape for me, it was an SB2 and it was a front indicator from a Series One Coupe. I still have 3 assemblies brand new. Still get you multiple cups of Tea though

  13. A good friend of mine has been custom building all the Ohlins kit for these.

  14. When I look at that bike, all I can see is.........

  15. I cannot get over the beauty of the Morbidelli V8 engine & then the rest of it I mean who on earth thought that the final product looked good?

Reminds me a bit of the Munch

Was the Morbidelli the one that came with its own container to get it shipped back to Italy for servicing and cost about 9 Gazillion Billion Ponds?

  16. That looks like its got a coal-fired boiler from a stately home or an electrical sub-station under the tank. Impressive but not beautiful. I bet it handles like an overloaded wheelbarrow with a flat tyre.

  17. Totally agree. I was just about to say that it looked like the sort of device you'd find in a basement of an office block - something to do with heating or ventilation.
The rest of the bike is in a similar mode.

  18. I reckon the tank might be salvageable.

  19. Think it used an NSU engine out of a car, hence the rather strange looking power plant

I'd need a stepladder and pair of Elton John's shoes to ride it

  20. I kinda like it.
