1098r Crank

  8. Don't think so. I was at Almeria last year and I'm off again next week where I shall give my crankshaft a jolly good testing!
     
  9. That's right. MR made no comment about my crankshaft but when I was browsing the rebuild pics I noticed possible score marks on the bearing journal. It may have just been remnants of the bearing shell, in which case it can be cleaned off. I'll call MR when I get home and ask the mechanic about it.
    I'm off to Almeria next week for a 4 day hoon. If it shits itself again I'll know why.

  12. The good news is Ducati reduced the price of a new R crank by more than 1/2 at the end of last year, we had 2 (not the same engine) in almost as many months do this
