Hello Guys I am 6ft 2" and the screen on my 2013 GT is just too short and I just cannot get out of the wind , any tips for a replacement would be appreciated Mcphee69
Try one of these on top of the screen Wunderlich universal screen extension - tint (WUN-20280-002) - Nippy Normans Works for me.
I was doing about 140 MPH in Germany with mine on... If you have the 3 hole set up I have a large CalSci touring screen for sale, very quiet, no wind, but it's pretty large.
I have fitted a Palmer Products screen adapter with the original screen - It tilts the screen more upright and allows it to be raised. I also fitted a bar between them to give me a high level sat nav mount. It all still lifts up and down using the original slider mechanism. Palmer Products - Ducati MS1200 (2013 MY) The site photo's don't really give a good perspective, if anyone is interested I'll post a few images of mine later.
@B1k3rBum - can you tell us how much difference this has made? I hadn't noticed the new Palmer Products adapter until you mentioned it above! More pics would be great too!
I must have the same problem, im 6ft 1 and after trying a few different options I cannot seem to get in clean air, if I duck down what seems like only a couple of inches that seems to be the solution, I have tried standard screen on Aztec spacers, new MRA X screen with & without spacers but can't seem to get anything in the right position. On top of that the MRA screen without the spacers fouls the position of the sat nav on the Navihalter bracket :Arghh:
Yes please, the pictures on their website are not that good. Does it work. I have spacers and the mra x-creen and I am still trying to get out of the noise. The pikes peak screen is quiet but you take a pretty big blast in the chest, somewhat tiring on long trips. Deaks
I've just received a NaviHalter for my 2014 MTS - any idea how to remove the sreen as that's what the poorly-translated German instructions seem to suggest...
The PB screen adapter is quite effective, it adds an inch or two to the normal height range plus the change in angle and there is a further adjustment in height of about 3 inches. Here are some pics streta asked for excuse quality the sun was low so contrast isn't the best but you can see the set up
