Tony is the owner and Dawn is his wife. They care more about their sons racing than the people who pay for it all. Each to there own though, some people must be using them as they are still in business.
Ducati Wolves are the biggest bunch of ar$eholes I've ever had the sorry pleasure to meet. If you get the opportunity to go somewhere else then do so without delay. Far better dealers who are more Trustworthy in my opinion.
So if there is such a backlash from people on this forum, who is it that actually spends their money there? And why?
Convinience I suppose and generally not knowing what a dealer is like until you experience it before or after .. Once bitten twice shy
According to DUK, Wolves pass every audit test with flying colours. Personally its total horsesh1t, you can falsify audits etc. Seen it done a thousand times They're both as bad as each other and as I said in a post some years ago on another forum about DUK also still fuging useless aswell as a waist of time/ space too and Wolves are just as bad. The bullsh1t and the lying continues from them both. Don't ever ask either of them for help, because it'll fall on deaf ears. That's all I'm prepared to say on the subject, so I'll get my coat.
I've been in a few times over the years, the reception is always the same, Tony seems to talk about how wonderful he is and slags anything you have owned, including Ducati's. Wasn't it JHP that used to service, maintain his bikes when he was racing ? As I say Dawn has always been great, but I would never buy a bike from them. Their loss.
and they wonder why they get called 'stealers'! Has there ever been a poll or ratings chart done for best uk dealer? I need to find one (York area) does anyone have dealings with Leeds? mine have been minimal, but not promising. Thanks
Some good independents in and around York - my old mate Alan is ex Ducati trained and works out of a unit near the farming museum. He's well known in the Aprilia fraternity too. I think Stuart Rafferty used to work with him at Moto Verci too and he works out of York. If you need a Main Dealer I'm not sure which is the best near to York - not heard good things about Sheffield though.
If anywhere near Leeds / Yorkshire area, wouldn't Ducati John be the place to go? Only heard good stuff about him.
I dropped into Ducati Coventry as I was passing by on the way home. The guy in there knew my local dealer was further north but Was happy, nevertheless, to spend time tellingmyself and my wife all about his experiences with Ducatis and all about the new 1299 Panigale. I left the shop wishing they were local enough to be my dealer so the comments I've heard about them do not surprise me. DMC Moto in Preston seem like a really friendly bunch, are happy to arrange test rides, etc. I'm having my first service done at Ducati Manchester at the weekend though so I guess we'll see how that works out. Again, they seem very friendly and accommodating; they're letting me take a Panigale demonstrator out while my service is being done.
