  1. Hi All.

I just picked up a 2013 Multistrada S Touring last week, lots of carbon, full termi with upmap and the previous owner transformed the silver bike with a full PP style 1C.jpg body wrap.

What a blast this bike is :)

My other bike is a kwak GTR1400 that I can see being relegated to a bit of a winter hack now.

  2. Hello and a warm welcome to the mad house

    Looking good :)

  3. Having run shaft drives for the last 15 years ( FJRs and a GTR1400 ) chain oiling is a long forgotten chore for me.

No problems with adjusting the chain after the ride down from London to Cornwall , less than an hour for a first time.

I have seen this Tutoro automatic chain oiler that looks simple and non invasive to fit, no plumbing into electrics or vacuum etc. and in the gallery there are a few pics of tidy installs on Multistradas.

anyone here used these and would recommend them ?

  5. Hello & welcome

  6. Welcome. Manual oiling is fine if you are prepared to put the time in cleaning and applying fairly regularly. Only time it becomes a pain is on a high mileage tour.

  7. Welcome Bagman - mean lookin' machine there !

  8. I am a bit torn ATM , the PP wrap that is on the bike looks quite cool but if you look close the finish is a bit pish, some creases on the tank etc..

Then again the pp wrap will be a brilliant paint saver until I want to take the bike back to the original silver.

    Stu..

  9. Silver :Wideyed:

  16. Ahh, were we talking about bikes? :) Yours looks better dressed in my opinion. I love that harbour, such a great atmosphere, although a pity the tourist hordes have spoiled it a bit. I remember visiting my Gran when she worked in the shop a couple doors from the Sloop when I was really young.

  17. Here you go Royal..
A pic of the shop that Gran worked in , was it the rock shop next to Harts ice cream parlour ?

This pic also proves that Ducs don't mind a bit of water ;)
